Brian Cardy trained as a Supply Officer in the Royal Air Force. He held variety of appointments at operational stations in the Jordan, Cyprus, Germany and Borneo interspersed with specialist appointments in Training, Fuels and Planning at Command Headquarters and Ministry of Defence Whitehall. As a Squadron Leader Brian qualified as MCIPS, MBIM, F Inst Petroleum by dint of the a range of research and management projects

On retiring from the service he spent five years in the aviation industry with FR Aviation and with Short Brothers PLC working out of Belfast. As Product support and Logistics general Manager for five aircraft fleets he had over 770 personnel working to him with contracts in RAF Scampton, RAF Finningley, USAF Zweibruggen, Kenyan Air Force in Nairobi, Kuwait Air Force in Kuwait and the US National Guard in West Virginia ,and qualifies as member of the Institute of Transport and Logistics.

He formed his own consultancy in 1990 converting it to a limited Company in 1991. In 1994 he qualified as a lead Quality Assessor under the aegis of Lancaster University. High value part time contracts followed in Environment Management, Quality Management, Health and Safety, Performance Improvement, Disaster Planning and Bid Writing with Roxby International, Richardson Electronics UK and USA, Lincolnshire Training Enterprise Council, three companies within the Hunting Group , The Stationery Office and a number of SMEs located primarily in the East Midlands or Yorkshire.

The company operates closely with associates who have a proven track record in their field who have the appetite for challenging assignments and giving value for money. The company still maintains links the aviation and defence industries and is currently well positioned to deal with consultancy and training projects in a wide range of industries and disciplines. The emphasis remains on performance improvement using ISO Standards and Independent verification through Certification Bodies such as ACS, BSI, ISOQAR, Lloyds, SGS Yarsley and TUV.
